Eligibility For Rajasthan Domicile – MBBS/BDS 2026

• NEET UG Qualification – Candidates must qualify for the NEET UG exam 2026 conducted by NTA.
• Educational Qualification – Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & English.
• Minimum Aggregate Marks in PCB:
  (i) General / EWS – 50%
  (ii) SC / ST / OBC-NCL – 40%
  (iii) PwBD – 40%
  👉 Even if Biology/Biotechnology was studied as an additional subject after passing 12th, the candidate remains eligible.
• Age Criteria – Minimum Age: 17 years by 31 December 2025 (born on or before 31.12.2008). Upper age limit is not applicable for NEET UG admissions.
• Domicile Requirement – Applicable for state quota seats (explained below).

Rajasthan Domicile / Residency Criteria (State Quota)

To be eligible for State Quota seats, candidates must satisfy one of the following clauses:

• Clause I: Parent has lived in Rajasthan for 10 years AND the candidate studied in Rajasthan for at least 5 years
• Clause II: Bonafide Rajasthan resident but studied outside Rajasthan
• Clause III: Children of serving/retired Rajasthan Govt employees or Rajasthan cadre officers (IAS/IPS/IFS) with ≥3 years service
• Clause IV: Children of permanent employees of Rajasthan Govt Undertakings/Corporations/Municipalities with ≥3 years service
• Clause V: Children of permanent employees of State University or Board of Secondary Education (Rajasthan) with ≥3 years service
• Clause VI: Children of Indian Defence personnel of Rajasthan origin (requires Proforma A)
• Clause VII: Children of Defence personnel posted in Rajasthan at application deadline (Proforma B)
• Clause VIII: Para-Military personnel of Rajasthan origin (with Proforma A)
• Clause IX: Para-Military personnel posted in Rajasthan (with Proforma B)
• Clause X: Children of Rajasthan High Court Judges (with affidavit confirming no domicile claim in another state)
• Clause XI: All India Group: Others not meeting Clauses I–X; eligible only for leftover seats (usually from Round 3 onwards)
